Message from Chairperson’s Corner "Reading is not optional."
Tomorrow will be youth month and i dedicate it to all illiterate South African youth. It is sudden to think that some are still illiterate, since youth month anticipation. Literature relates to lifelong literacy, education, and the development and betterment of the lives of young people.
HOL Hub is here to humanize the poor youth and adults, humanize those called gritty neighbourhoods because they are human beings as everybody else. The first way to humanize them is to include them to literature, and so we are.
In my own opinion i think illiterate starts at home where parents think they have to be a really good readers to teach their children. And that's not true. Let’s all play part in reading and writing in order to be literate society.
Education affects every part of our lives.
You cannot live this life anymore without the ability to read.
Cheers ... Happy Youth Month

Good Day, Thank you for your visit.

In order to successfully carry out the project, Hands-On Literacy Hub (HOL Hub) requires core capital funding by Jul/Aug 2012 to raise the required sum of  R3 Million. Thus far funds are raised by the organisation itself, without any other assistance. This will ensure that 100% of all funds raised are used for the direct benefit of  illiterate youth and adults from Western Cape disadvantaged metropolitan areas and elsewhere the need manifest.

For more information and if you and your organisation would like to recieve a contributor slot, please contact  L. Kubukeli, Chairperson at holhub@rocketmail.com
